Your Different Things

It could be a corkscrew It could be a broom It could be my kitchen tongs Or it could be a wooden spoon

These objects to you are interesting You become quite entranced You pick them up and twirl around You move with them; lost in a dance

These objects are plain to me Nothing, but my household tools But you keep them safe Even try to take them to school!!!

I try to understand why? It’s a puzzle piece I cannot place These different things make you happy And I love to see the smile on your face
