The Helping Hands

Updated: Sep 20, 2019

We walk nervously into your room

Our minds full of the unknown

You greet us with a warming smile

Trying to calm our feelings down

We’re not sure about the road ahead

You reassure us about the next steps

Your honesty can be hard to hear

But it’s said with compassion which helps

You work with our little one

Making notes along the way

We’re wondering what you are writing

Wondering what you’re going to say

The outcome may not be what we want

But the answers are laid out in a plan

Working together to build a future

Giving the best life to our little ones that we can
