Band Aid

Updated: Sep 20, 2019

You’re wearing a band aid on your leg From a fall you had the other day You can’t tell me what happened You can’t explain your dismay

2 days have passed and the band aid is still there You won’t let me look at it You won’t let me touch it You won’t let me care

In the bath I take it off Your despair breaks my heart You’re scared and upset From a band aid tearing apart

The wound you had has healed But what you’re feeling inside is more The superficial wound has gone But inside you still feel the sore
